As a member of the University Court, Pumping Station Director, Brian Robinson was invited to the service of installation of Professor Patricia Broadfoot CBE DSA AcSS as Vice Chancellor on 22 November 2006.

The installation service for the University of Gloucestershire's new Vice Chancellor was conducted by Lord Carey. The Bishop of Gloucester conducted the blessing.

The service was very enjoyable with a excellent support from the choir conducted by Ian Higginson.

Patricia Broadfoot's speech focused on the University of Gloucestershire's success in building links with the community and business and the focus of the University as a defender of values and wisdom.

The University Court was established in 2005 to improve the links between the University and the community in Gloucestershire.

Brian Robinson as senior marketer in Gloucestershire and member of the South West Regional Board of The Chartered Institute of Marketing has been actively building links between the business community and the University over many years.
