This photograph was the front of a postcard sent
in 1906. It shows the original Pumping Station building before the building was
extended eastward for the second well. The chimney used for the coal fired steam
driven pumping engine is visible.
Although the quality of the photo is poor it
is possible to make out two figures in traditional dress by the house and a
man in the entrance to the Pumping Station.
